WBRS Initiatives for Privacy:
Access to the WBRS System
- Use of the WBRS site by Aguirre International or Interliant, the host server entity, is strictly controlled by the Aguirre International Technical Manager, and limited to a select number of authorized system designers.
- Each WBRS user is issued a user name and password. Users are prompted and required to change their passwords immediately after logging on for the first time and periodically thereafter. A utility enabling users to easily change their passwords is incorporated into the site. The WBRS site is not programmed to capture or keep a list of those passwords.
- WBRS implements an audit trail that indicates who has used and edited data in the system.
- Transmission of sensitive information to the WBRS site is encrypted through the operation of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) application.
- Transmission of sensitive information to the Corporation is PGP-encrypted.

Purpose of the WBRS System
- WBRS is designed for use by grantees of the Corporation for National Service as a management and reporting tool. It also provides a low-burden way of transmitting required and approved data to the Corporation.
- WBRS has been designed to help users easily enter accurate data. The system implements data validation rules based on grant provisions published by the Corporation for National Service. The online help utility and the WBRS Manual issued to all users provides documentation of those rules as implemented in the system.
|
Resale or disclosure of information to third parties:
- No users outside the Corporation, its grantees, and the Aguirre International Design team are authorized; and Aguirre International does not provide information about or from WBRS users to others outside the Corporation for National Service and their grantees.
- Users at AmeriCorps programs have access only to their own data. Users at the Corporation for National Service, state commissions, or national direct parent organizations only have access consistent with the published AmeriCorps Grant Provisions.
|
Browser information collected on the Web site:
- Aguirre International and Interliant analyze our Web site logs only to improve the performance of the Web site. While it may be possible to personally identify users’ sessions by analyzing Web site logs, the data are used only for audit trail and security purposes. The logs are not provided to any other organization nor used for any other purpose.
|
Use of cookies:

Data Security
